Derby Days @ Mint Museum Randolph

Celebrate the 23rd Annual Derby Days with the Young Affiliates of The Mint. Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment that includes live music, lawn games, and a large-screen viewing of the race live from Louisville, Kentucky. Attendees arrive decked out in sundresses and seersucker to watch “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports,” listen to music, and enjoy free beverages and food from top area restaurants. Derby Days will also feature a silent auction and a 50/50 cash raffle where you pick which horse will make it to the Winner’s Circle.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – March 18, 2013 – 24 Hours of Booty, Inc. will be the beneficiary of the inaugural Krispy Kreme Doughnut Dash in Charlotte. The 4.8-mile race will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 7:30AM, starting and ending on Greenwich Drive in Cotswold, near the Krispy Kreme on 119 North Sharon Amity Road, and running through the streets of Cotswold.

Divine Expressions by Sondra, LLC will hold Fashion is in the Air, a signature upscale fashion show event in the Ballantyne Village Shopping Center at the Villa Antonio Restaurant along the fountain side on May 24, 2013. We’ll begin with a 6 PM mixer in the heart of the shopping center featuring jazz band 5th & York with a few local businesses joining in our fountain-side mall. Fashion is in the Air will begin at 7:45, showcasing chic local designers and boutiques, salons, and exhibit the most dazzling models in the city with hot new trends which will be available for purchase. We will underscore the night with personalities and entertainment, music, food and drinks provided by Villa Antonio Restaurant and Divine Expressions.
