Fresh off the 2011 Kiss Kruise, the fellas seem to have stirred things up quite a bit out on the open seas. The final quarter of their sophomore year is proving to be very exciting. Look out for big things from these gentlemen in 2012.
Collectively, the members of Crane have traveled the country in different projects. A group of seasoned professional musicians deliver a fresh young sound that is contagious. Members Daniel Collins and Anthony Crane have proven themselves as cross-genre song writers by their involvement in writing for country acts, hip hop acts, and everything in between. The sound of Crane is a reflection of their versatility and ability as musicians.
Below is an excerpt from a fellow friend and musician:
"Crane happened late one night at a family dinner. Bill Withers and Jill Scott were having a peaceful dinner when Citizen Cope walked in from school. He started filming the dinner with his cell phone when Scott remembered that she needed to call her good friend John Prine. Prine's ringback tone by Cage the Elephant sent Scott into a frenzy and she cleared off the dinner table and began to "groove" on it with Withers . . . Right before Prine picked up, the condom broke . . . 9 months later Crane was born."
“Anthony is a blues baked singer/songwriter born and bred from that red Georgia clay. He has a smokey, whiskey-soaked voice that will reach down the back of your throat and grab your fucking spine. He has an onstage presence that will make you believe he should have been in Midnight Of the Garden of Good and Evil. All by himself-Anthony Crane is a good time…”

"Anthony Crane and his crew bring the Delta blues and the sounds of the swamps of the south further north to Atlanta. They bring a fresh new R&B rock vibe to a city inundated with generic Hip-hop. The style is reminiscent of Jack Johnson had he grown up in the dirty south listening to Bill Withers and Otis Redding for a nice collaboration of rock, soul and pop music."
