The New Gallery of Modern Art is pleased to announce “stone • earth • paper”, the first exhibit of Patricia Leighton and Del Geist in Charlotte, NC. Both Leighton and Geist have been integrating art into the public realm for more than 25 years. Current UNCC Artists in Residence at Charlotte’s McColl Center for Visual Art, the artists are commissioned by Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) to integrate art into the future UNC Charlotte light rail station and campus site.
