Marketing Director for Give Fifty One – a local non-profit and humanitarian apparel brand that gives 51 percent of all profits to ending child homelessness – join the cause at GiveFiftyOne.org, Charlotte ONE sponsor and member; Latin American Coalition volunteer; active in multiple Elevation Church E-Groups.
DO YOU HAVE ANY EXTRA HOBBIES/INTERESTS?
Play in a few soccer leagues, avid outdoorsmen and love hiking, kayaking, rockclimbing, watersports, longboarding, etc; I love traveling, learning Spanish, entrepreneurship, networking, tech startups, event planning/marketing/promotions, live music, social scenes etc.
TELL US A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT YOURSELF/LIFE?
I'm just a guy who loves Jesus Christ and His creation. I have been fortunate enough to travel a decent amount of countries, but I want to see them all one day. I also want to figure out the secret to preserving the entrepreneurial, ambitious spirit of America while infusing a more collaborative, group-oriented style characteristic of more collectivistic societies – the best of both worlds. That vision is at the very core of Nextus LLC's purpose, a project management and consulting firm that I founded and manage. I have been living and working in Charlotte ever since I graduated college two years ago
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT ANY RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS YOU’VE EARNED?
Red Ventures Master Sales Agent – consistently lead the company in sales revenue every month. Orchestrated and successfully raised angel investment for local ed-tech startup. Successfully founded, organized, marketed and executed Tallulah Fest – an outdoor kayaking, camping, music festival in Northeast Georgia that we hope to grow into the largest festival of its type in the South East.
IN YOUR OPINION, HOW DO YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY?
I work with and support numerous non-profits and startups in the community and further their respective initiatives in any way that I can with Nextus LLC. I am a very strong advocate and member of the growing startup, entrepreneurial movement in Charlotte. We want to show the nation that Charlotte is not only a hub for corporate America, but also a thriving community for innovative startup companies and a hotbed for creativity and invention. Furthermore, I'm proud to say I was a party of the “Orange Initiative” at Elevation Church – a project that contributed more than 100,000 volunteer hours and $2 million towards the local community.
