Dennis Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery since 1997, making it one of the first North Carolina wineries. They specialize in the Muscadine or ‘the grape of the South’ but also produce many top quality fruit and berry wines as well as some more traditional French varieties.
Tastings are offered daily with over 30 unique and tasty options. Packed picnic lunches may be enjoyed on their large patio overlooking the vineyard. The wine club of Dennis Vineyards gives members discounts on wine and event tickets, among other perks. Established in 2004, Daveste Vineyards was the first winery to open in Iredell County. The vineyard boasts a modern, three-level “barn” winery, a tasting room and art gallery. They offer tastings and tours of the vineyard and winery as well as craft beer tastings and non-alcoholic beverages. Picnic baskets are allowed but no outside alcohol is permitted. Douglas Vineyards is a family-owned winery located in Kannapolis, NC that opened its doors in April of 2015 and believes that quality comes before quantity.
