Bar Cocoa, a delectable dessert boutique at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte, will serve refreshing push-

“We decided to bring back the push-pop to invoke a sense of ‘90s nostalgia,” said Head Pastry Chef, Crystal Broadbent. “Warm weather and chilled treats signaled the beginning of summer as a child, and we aim to recall those memories through timeless flavors.”

Push-pops will include an assortment of both homemade gelato and sorbet selections, served at $3/each. Refreshing green apple and raspberry sorbet offer relief from Southern heat, while creamy chocolate, honey pecan, orange creamsicle, mint chocolate chip – and new fruity pebbles – gelato satisfies a sweet tooth. The gelato tricycle will cater to corporate offices seeking to reward a successful quarter and local apartment complexes who wish to host an event for tenants. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 704-972-4409 or emailing Crystal Broadbent at crystal.broadbent@ritzcarlton.com. Custom flavors and catering outside Uptown Charlotte are both available for an additional fee.
