Chopt Creative Salad Co. Launches a Menu Inspired by Mexico

Every 60 Days Chopt Travels to a New Locale with Destination Series

Chopt, the fast-casual restaurant that reimagined what a salad can be, is excited to announce the launch of three salads inspired by the country that practically invented street food, with a focus on spicy, rich, and craveable flavors found in Mexico. As part of the brand’s ongoing Destination Menu program, the salads will be available today through January 2nd, 2018, when Chopt will move onto its next adventure.

As is custom for all destinations, Chopt traveled across Mexico, discovering delicious and exciting ingredients to share. From braised spicy tomatillo chicken to Mexican street corn, creamy avocado to a hearty hominy quinoa blend, after one bite, you will feel as though you are standing in the middle of a Mexican market yourself. Chopt captures the stories behind the people they meet, the food they enjoy and the places they visit on their blog, Chopt Travels, and through their partnership with Edible Magazine. You can read the stories behind their travels in Mexico and more on ediblemanhattan.com.

This tasty salad selection is available from November 6 through January 2, and includes:

  1.  Mexican Street Corn Caesar ($10.99): Grilled chicken, Mexican street corn, pickled red onions, spiced pepitas, romaine, kale, purple cabbage, & cilantro with Cotija Herb Caesar.

  2.  Spicy Verde Chicken Bowl ($10.99): Braised spicy tomatillo chicken, quinoa hominy blend, roasted seasonal squash, spicy pickled vegetables, kale, purple cabbage, & cilantro with Limon Vinaigrette + a drizzle of Mexican Chile Oil.

  3. Mexican Goddess Bowl ($10.49): Avocado, Mexican street corn, spicy pickled vegetables, seasonal radish, Chopt blend, and spiced blue corn tortilla chips with Mexican Goddess Dressing + a wedge of lime.

“Anyone who’s visited Mexico knows of its incredible flavors and rich food traditions. We learned the art of mole, tasted all the tacos and plunged taste buds first into local markets to experience the spice and character that comes from the cuisine of this region. We couldn’t be more excited to bring these big, bold flavors to our customers,” said Chopt cofounder, Tony Shure.

Alongside the new Mexican street-inspired options, Chopt continues to offer its wide array of innovative classic and buildyour-own salads, as well as wraps and salad and soup combinations. To enjoy, guests can visit a Chopt location, download the app, or order online via the newly redesigned choptsalad.com website which offers easy ordering for delivery, pickup or catering.
