Barbeque Joint Featuring National Award Winning Smoked Meats Marks Grand Opening with Community Celebration

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C., September 11, 2017 — City Barbeque, an award-winning barbeque joint built on a foundation of “low and slow” smoked meats, made-from-scratch side dishes, sinful desserts and a healthy dose of backyard hospitality, will open their first location in Huntersville at 15425 Hodges Circle, on Tuesday, September 12 at 10:30 a.m. An official ribbon cutting will be held at 10:30 a.m. on September 12 and is open to the public.
Following opening day, City Barbeque will hold a grand opening celebration on Saturday, September 16, including kid’s entertainment, giveaways and appearances by Sir Purr and Carolina Panthers’ PurrCussion. Customers will be able to sample a wide selection of smoked meats, including pulled pork, brisket and smoked turkey, St Louis-style cut ribs, sausage and the biggest smoked chickens you’ve ever seen! Diners also won’t want to miss homemade warm peach cobbler, sweet corn pudding, hand-dipped hush puppies, baked beans with brisket, and our banana pudding, recently named one of the top 10 in America by Paula Deen Magazine.
10% of sales from grand opening day will go to Lotta Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation dedicated to help reduce the negative impact poverty and sickness brings both adults and children in our community. In addition, City Barbeque will be selling t-shirts for a suggested donation of at least $3 with 100% of the sales going to the Lotta Foundation.
