CycleBar Studio to Open First Location in Charlotte

Will Offer 50 Free Classes Over 10 Days

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Aug. 18, 2016) – CycleBar Midtown CLT, a new concept in premium indoor cycling that offers a high energy workout in a concert-like atmosphere; concierge-level service; and premium amenities, will celebrate its grand opening on Sept. 5. From Aug. 25-Sept. 4, the studio will hold its “CycleBlast,” which allows Charlotteans to experience a class prior to its official opening. CycleBar is the only luxury boutique fitness franchise available to date. The Midtown studio, located at 339 S. Kings Drive, is one of 100 CycleBar locations to open to riders in 2016.

“More than 54 million Americans are exercising at boutique fitness studios, which makes it the fastest growing sector of the fitness industry,” said Lisa Palmer, CycleBar Midtown CLT franchise owner. “CycleBar is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I can’t wait for Charlotteans to have their energy fueled by the CycleBar’s intoxicating rides that promise to calm minds, elevate moods and revive senses.”

The dynamic classes take place in a state-of-the-art CycleTheatre and are led by CycleStar instructors who take participants through a 50-minute high energy ride. The CycleTheatre features tiers for 50 bikes plus LED lighting, wide-screen graphics and state-of-the-art audio with a DJ booth. Riders can also track performance data via CycleStats and can download music used in the class session. After class, riders cool down with fresh fruit and enhanced water, while aromatherapy helps guests relax throughout the facility. CycleBar offers a pay-per-class model, with no membership necessary. Concierge service and amenities include free towels, showers, lockers, and shoes.

CycleBar also does more than help people stay in shape, it gives them the opportunity to work out to support a cause through philanthropic CycleGiving events that regularly take place at the studios. Local charities may contact CycleBar Midtown CLT to organize a CycleGiving event.

Owners Lisa and Marc Palmer reside in Charlotte and have decades of fitness experience – as personal trainers and fitness studio owners. The Palmers plan to open two additional CycleBar studios in Charlotte.

Charlotteans may sign up for one of the complimentary CycleBlast classes by registering at www.midtownclt.cyclebar.com. For additional information, visit midtownclt.cyclebar.com.
