Legion Brewing Announces Summer Event Series: “Friends of Summer”
The summer celebrations begin June 22 with a beer release, outdoor games, music and more
Warm weather is finally here and Legion Brewing is looking forward to savoring it all summer long with their summer series. Join Legion Brewing Plaza Midwood on Saturday, June 22 from 3 to 7 p.m. to kick off their Friends of Summer summer event series.
The first Friends of Summer event is a Y2K Splash Party. Legion Brewing will provide wet and wild fun and plenty of cold craft beer including the release of the Grapefruit Juicy Jay. This event is free, family-friendly and dog-friendly (outside only). Live music will be presented by DJ Jaime Overcash.
“We’re excited to host a series of events throughout the summer for the community. Each event will have a different theme, food, craft beer release and a whole lot of fun,” said Legion Brewing Co-founder Phil Buchy. “This series was designed to promote the ethos on which Legion was founded: sharing good beer with friends is one of life’s great pleasures.“
The next Friends of Summer event is slated for July 20 and will be Legion Brewing’s Legiondary Field Day. The series wraps August 24 with a Legion Jam Fest with more details to come throughout the summer.
