Making Salad the Main Course, New Saladworks Restaurant Opens in Huntersville

Opening to the Huntersville Community, Saladworks Offers Fresh, Customizable Salads and More

Saladworks, the nation’s leading fast-casual, entree salad franchise, will open its newest restaurant in Huntersville by a local couple Gary and Kim Randazzo. Located off of exit 23 at the Rosedale Shopping Center on Gilead Rd., the new restaurant focuses on customization through its array of over 60 fresh, flavorful and healthy ingredients – allowing guests to create a salad as original as they are. In addition to its Signature recipes, Saladworks offers create-your-own options, including salads, wraps, grain bowls, soups and more.

Saladworks Huntersville is owned and operated by Gary Randazzo and his wife Kim. Originally from New Jersey, Gary and Kim have years of experience in business ownership. In 2019, the couple decided to move to Huntersville after falling in love with the Lake Norman region. Since Saladworks is a staple on the East Coast, Gary was certain that Huntersville was a perfect location to bring the healthy Saladworks restaurant concept. After speaking with Kim, the two decided to go into business ownership once again and open Huntersville’s first Saladworks.

“There are a lot of options for fast food in the area, but with the healthy lifestyle of residents in the area, we want to establish ourselves as Huntersville’s go-to fast-casual for healthy and delicious food,” said Gary. “Saladworks prides itself with originality and being a key component in the community, which is why I know Huntersville will love what we have in store, both literally and figuratively.”

To celebrate the new Saladworks, a grand opening is planned for May 26. In lieu of a grand opening event, guests can download the Saladworks rewards app for a chance to win free salads for a year.

Saladworks has spent years creating a menu that caters to everyone’s nutritional needs (vegetarian, vegan, flexitarian) and diets (Keto, Paleo, Whole 30, etc.). While the menu includes 12 chef-driven Signatures, the Saladworks experience allows guests to express their creativity and make salads that are as original as they are, utilizing a wide range of fresh ingredients including a base of greens, grains or a combination of both.

Open for lunch and dinner, the new local restaurant offers online ordering and delivery through the store and with major third-party delivery services such as Uber Eats, GrubHub and Door Dash. Guests can join the Saladworks Rewards program and download the app for special offers – like earning points for every visit towards free Saladworks.

The brand is currently experiencing impressive growth due to a rise in health-conscious consumer behaviors and its unique avenues for expansion, such as ghost kitchens, stores within stores, and locations across the likes of universities and military bases. By the end of 2020, Saladworks plans to open 30 new restaurants and have 50 more in development.
