Trick. Treat. Win!
For the month of October, McDonald’s is the go-to place in North Carolina to get the most fun out of Halloween with the launch of its new national game, Trick. Treat. Win! The game was kicked off with a one-of-a-kind light show, Trick. Treat. Win! Fright Lights! at the company’s new flagship restaurant in the heart of downtown Chicago. Check out the light spectacle here.
There at two ways North Carolinians can play Trick. Treat. Win! for a 1 in 4 chance to instantly win awesome food and prizes.
Instantly: By peeling game pieces on select McDonald’s packaging of iconic menu items, customers have the chance to instantly win craveable and delicious food prizes like fries, a Big Mac® Sandwich, Artisan Chicken or Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Biscuit Sandwich, small McCafé® Frappé, Smoothie or Shake and snack size McFlurry®. Some instant win prizes may also be special prizes like cash, or from game partners, such as PlayStation® Bundles, Monster Jam® Superstore gift cards and more. If the game piece is not an instant win, customers still have a chance to win by redeeming the peeled game piece for Entry Tokens that can be used to enter the Daily Sweepstakes on the McDonald’s Mobile app.
In Our App: Collect Entry Tokens from peeled game pieces on select McDonald’s packaging and use to enter the Daily Sweepstakes in our App for a chance to win a new prize each day. Craveable McDonald’s for life is just one of the Daily Sweepstakes prizes. Additional Daily Sweepstakes prizes include an all-new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, Beaches Resorts Luxury Included® Vacations, football fan trips, Universal Parks & Resorts™ trips, and an abundance of cash prizes among many others.
In celebration of Trick. Treat. Win! McDonald’s Chicago flagship restaurant has become the country’s must-see Halloween spectacle with the premiere of its over the top light show, Trick. Treat. Win! Fright Lights! During the day the restaurant is the most spook-tacularly decorated house on the block with pumpkins, cobwebs and ghouls galore. Then, when the clock strikes 7 p.m. local time, pops of Halloween color, haunted décor and a 1,630 square foot LED light show set to spirited music lights up the Chicago night twice an hour until 10 p.m. local time. Some of the game’s top prizes available to win are even showcased in the must-see Halloween display.
Trick. Treat. Win! Fright Lights! took over 400 hours to create, includes hundreds of pumpkins and is truly a sight to behold! Tombstones also mark some past McDonald’s favorites that premiered but didn’t stay on the menu, such as McPizza, the McD.L.T. and Onion Nuggets (really).
